		<description>Best wishes with the course. And, on success in getting students to read, think about, and discuss history. My recollections are that even history majors weren&#039;t consistently gung-ho over such an allegedly &#039;dry&#039; subject. Classes like what you describe could shake that up.</description>

		<description>My WWI class in undergrad was my favorite class in all 4 years. It&#039;s half the reason i study German history now.

Anyways, My professor showed us Blackadder Goes Forth in class as a way of showing what trench life was like. Also to talk about societies collective memory of the war and how it is different from the memory of WWII.</description>
